Ponder is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Scripture text is the public-domain 1830 edition of the Book of Mormon.
Your reading history, streaks, journal entries, and saved verses are stored locally on your device. We never see them. Deleting the app, or using "Delete All Data" in Settings, removes them.
When you request a summary, discussion questions, or a journal prompt, the public-domain chapter text and your request are sent to our server, which passes them to an AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the study aid. Your journal entries are never sent. Requests are processed transiently and are not used to train AI models.
No account is required. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or location. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
